Juneteenth commemorates our nation’s true independence—the day when all members of the newly reunited nation were finally declared free after the American Civil War. More than 400 years after the first enslaved African people were brought to the North American colonies, the fight for equality continues. Our Annual Juneteenth Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2019 at 7:30pm.

The Juneteenth program will be presented by Healing Nations Foundation in collaboration with Carnegie Hall.
